Similar to real pilots, Cloud9 requires its pilots to hold appropriate ratings for our operation. These include the private certificate, an instrument rating, commercial multiengine certificate and an airline transport certificate. These ratings coincide with the VATSIM pilot ratings. At this time, Cloud9 is not an approved VATSIM training operator, but that remains our goal. New pilots to Cloud9 will have to earn these ratings through our flight training program. Our goal is to make this process simple yet informative. The program should take approximately 10 hours of flight time to complete.

Pilots with prior ratings (on VATSIM or real life) will be credited for their experience!
